Enabling JavaScript in Your Browser

Suspenders-OnLine.com uses JavaScript to make the site faster, more dynamic, and easier to use.  Most newer browsers automatically provide built-in JavaScript capability.

JavaScript, however, can be disabled.  If you have one of the browsers listed below and you receive a warning message from a page on the Suspenders-OnLine.com site, JavaScript has been disabled in your browser.  Fortunately, enabling JavaScript in your browser is quick and easy to do.  Click on your browser type below and follow the steps provided.

Internet Explorer 5.x for Windows

Internet Explorer 5.x (Windows):

  1. From the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Click the Custom Level... button.
  4. Within the Settings window, scroll down to the Scripting section and click Enable under Active Scripting, then click OK.
  5. Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled.

Internet Explorer 4.x (Windows):

  1. From the View menu, click Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Click the Custom (for expert users) button. Then click Settings.
  4. Scroll down to the Scripting section and click Enable under Active Scripting, click OK.
  5. Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled.

Internet Explorer 3.x (Windows):

  1. 1. From the View menu, click Options.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. In the Active Content area, select the boxes next to Enable Java Programs and Allow Downloading of Active Content .
  4. Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled.

Internet Explorer 4.x (Mac):

  1. From the Edit menu, click Preferences.
  2. Click the Web Content bullet under Web Browser.
  3. In the Active Content section, click Enable Scripting.
  4. Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled.

Netscape Navigator 4.x (Mac and Windows):

  1. From the Edit menu, click Preferences.
  2. Scroll down to Advanced and select the box next to Enable JavaScript.
  3. Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled

Netscape Navigator 3.x (Mac and Windows):

  1. From the Options menu, click Network Preferences...
  2. Select the box next to Enable JavaScript.
  3. Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled

AOL 5.0 (Mac and Windows):

  1. From the My AOL menu, select Preferences
  2. Click on WWW
  3. Click on the Security tab
  4. Click the Custom Level... button.
  5. Within the Settings window, scroll down to the Scripting section and click Enable under Active Scripting, then click OK.
  6. Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled.

AOL 6.0 (Mac and Windows):

  1. From the Settings menu, select Preferences
  2. Click on Internet Properties (WWW)
  3. Click on the Security tab
  4. Click the Custom Level... button.
  5. Within the Settings window, scroll down to the Scripting section and click Enable under Active Scripting, then click OK.
  6. Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled.
