- From the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
- Click the Security tab.
- Click the Custom Level... button.
- Within the Settings window, scroll down to the Scripting
section and click Enable under Active Scripting, then click
OK.
- Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled.
Internet Explorer 4.x (Windows):
- From the View menu, click Internet Options.
- Click the Security tab.
- Click the Custom (for expert users) button. Then click
Settings.
- Scroll down to the Scripting section and click Enable under
Active Scripting, click OK.
- Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled.
Internet Explorer 3.x (Windows):
- 1. From the View menu, click Options.
- Click the Security tab.
- In the Active Content area, select the boxes next to Enable
Java Programs and Allow Downloading of Active Content .
- Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled.
Internet Explorer 4.x (Mac):
- From the Edit menu, click Preferences.
- Click the Web Content bullet under Web Browser.
- In the Active Content section, click Enable Scripting.
- Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled.
Netscape Navigator 4.x (Mac and
Windows):
- From the Edit menu, click Preferences.
- Scroll down to Advanced and select the box next to Enable
JavaScript.
- Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled
Netscape Navigator 3.x (Mac and
Windows):
- From the Options menu, click Network Preferences...
- Select the box next to Enable JavaScript.
- Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled
AOL 5.0 (Mac and Windows):
- From the My AOL menu, select Preferences
- Click on WWW
- Click on the Security tab
- Click the Custom Level... button.
- Within the Settings window, scroll down to the Scripting
section and click Enable under Active Scripting, then click
OK.
- Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled.
AOL 6.0 (Mac and Windows):
- From the Settings menu, select Preferences
- Click on Internet Properties (WWW)
- Click on the Security tab
- Click the Custom Level... button.
- Within the Settings window, scroll down to the Scripting
section and click Enable under Active Scripting, then click
OK.
- Click OK to finish. JavaScript is now enabled.
